KZN attends sefa breakfast session in numbers
The drive to educate South Africa about sefa’s offerings is gaining momentum if the attendance at the recent breakfast sessions are anything to go by.
The session held at the Garden Court in KZN last week was a case in point drawing large attendance from the province entrepreneurs. Over 190 small businesses across industries turned up to get more information and business advises from sefa.
Amongst the key issues raised was the vision of sefa, challenges facing the SMMEs industry, turnaround time as well as the requests for larger products offering.
KZN is a unique province in that it has 11 district municipalities with large growth potential and vast business opportunities. This presents sefa an opportunity to pursue the region with vigour for more business deals.
Two weeks ago sefa visited Cape Town and the turn-out was equally impressive. More than 150 aspiring and established entrepreneurship attended, showing keen interest on sefa products and the benefits for the province. Western Cape is an economic powerhouse very strong in fishing and the wining industry.
During this financial year a number of areas have been visited including Umthatha, Witbank, Rustenburg and Burgersfort in Limpopo.
The Breakfast sessions follow a different pattern from the conventional roadshows as they are targeted specifically at aspiring and practising entrepreneurs.
More sessions will be held in the coming few weeks with the next one taking place at the Presidential Hotel in Bloemfontein on the 12th of March 2015
