13th of December 2019 was near a perfect day for sefa staff going on December holidays. The CEO Day was attended by all sefa offices with sumptuous lunch for a company in a gathering that went on and on to the late hours of the day.

Dubbed a jean and white engagement day, a dress code for the day, sefa staff gathered at the parking area which was soon turned into a razzmatazz after the formal CEO proceedings. It was the day most staff members would want to remember.

“This are kind of things that keep staff spirit together and it will be nice to have more of this gets together with regions and everybody in future, said one of the Head Office staff member.

Suggestions were made from the floor to have regular get together each year and Sun City was fancied for a venue “Colleagues I think we should have one of this in Sun City next year and I hope Human Capital will take this proposal serious, said one of the North West staffer.

CEO briefings of all staff happens regularly as a way of ensuring that people are informed about the goings in the organisations.

“ I thank you for hard work during the year , however I do want all of you to note the gaps in our performance targets and I want all of you to ensure that the last quarter we use to correct this. I wish you a good festive break and, please use it to recharge your batteries”, said Acting CEO Setlakalane Molepo.

“Staff engagement is important colleagues and really, we need more of it to improve performance of the organisation. I must applaud your participation in particular the team that puts this event together. I look forward to another engagement next year .Safe festive for everybody, said the Head of Human Resources, Nokonwaba Shwala
